Eva Ruzhuo Zhao works across acrylic, watercolor, colored pencil, and cut paper, moving easily between studies of animals and flowers and imaginative dragon portraits. Her work is defined by close observation and confident, saturated color. In 2026 she received the International Art Bee Award's Gold Bee for Excellence in Painting and Drawing from the New York Art Foundation for Youth.
